1918: The Battle Of Kruty (UK-import)
Ukrainian war drama directed by Aleksey Shaparev. General Muravyov (Vitaliy Saliy) leads the Bolshevik army into Ukraine hoping to storm Kiev with his 4,000 strong battalion. However, outside the small town of Kruty in northern Ukraine his men are met by a small band of Ukrainian soldiers, mostly students, who engage them in battle and are prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice for their country.
