1941 - The Battle Of Tobruk (UK-import)
Tense, unsentimental WWII drama in which two Czech recruits find themselves in North Africa helping out the allies. After their initial training, privates Pospichal (Jan Meduna) and Lieberman (Petr Vanek) are assigned to an army unit in Egypt under the command of Sergeant Borny (Martin Nahalka). With the men finally in shape, they're sent to Libya as part of the force to help in the relief of the Allied occupied city of Tobruk. But on their arrival, the realities of war soon begin to sink in, and, as the German barrage of the British lines intensifies, the lack of supplies begins to affect the men's strength and morale.
