Our trio was formed in 2012, when we performed with the great success at the first Leo Records Festival in Moscow. It`s a big honor for me to be the organizer of the festival. Since then and to this day, every new meeting with the legendary Slava Ganelin, who was at the forefront of the new music in the USSR in 60-70s, the founder of the incredible The Ganelin Trio, and the great Oleg Yudanov, a member of the amazing jazz-group Arkhangelsk, is a special event for me. The programs of our trio are based on the principles of free improvisation where large scale structures of the compositions are built during the same moment, and their ideological content acquires a philosophical aspect. This album, recorded at a concert in the sensational Moscow venue Dom, represents these ideas very well. «Access Point» is a metaphor, a new world, a reality, where freedom of creativity reigns, a friendly attitude towards each other, a space to which every artist aspires, a place where an artist feels a real creative freedom. We sincerely thank our dear friend and a patron Igor Fleyshman whose invaluable support made it possible to release the album!
