Action Collection (UK-import)
Triple bill of action features. In 'Tokarev' (2014) Paul Maguire (Nicolas Cage) is a criminal who, with the help of his friends Kane and Danny (Max Ryan and Michael McGrady), steals a briefcase full of money from a Russian mobster. Realising that the mob would come after the money, the men decide to hide it away and meet up five years later to divide it up. Five years on and Paul, Kane and Danny meet as promised to split the proceeds of their last job together. As Paul has become fully reformed living a normal life as a doting husband and father, he prepares to go to a charity dinner with his wife, leaving his daughter at home with friends. When Detective St. John (Danny Glover) informs him that his daughter has been kidnapped, Paul ignores the police's efforts and decides to seek revenge his own way. In '13' (2010) the family of Vince Ferro (Sam Riley) are in grave need of money to pay medical bills. When Vince hears of the death of a man who was due to start a well paid job, he steals a letter addressed to the man and heads to New York to try and assume his identity. The ploy works and Vince is taken to the place of his employment but the 'job' is unusual to say the least. Vince finds himself forced to participate in a game of Russian roulette where the winner takes home a fortune and the losers go home in a body bag. Wealthy men, such as Jasper (Jason Statham) - who has entered his less fortunate brother, Ronald (Ray Winstone), into the event - bet on the outcome. Can Vince find a way to survive the horrifying game? Finally, in 'Extraction' (2015), retired CIA agent Leonard Turner (Bruce Willis) is taken hostage by terrorists and his son Harry (Kellan Lutz) takes it upon himself to rescue him. Frustrated with the agency's lack of action, the government analyst leaves his desk job behind to team up with his ex-girlfriend Victoria (Gina Carano) and save his father from the clutches of terrorists.
