American thriller in which a blind woman is overwhelmed when she is able to regain her sight. Following an operation to remedy her blindness, Gina (Blake Lively) slowly begins to see again and can finally take in the world around her. As she adapts to her surroundings and is given a new lease of life, Gina's husband James (Jason Clarke) becomes concerned about her sudden frivolousness as she explores her independence. Soon, things take a turn for the worse as what comes with her sight is a clarity of understanding that she didn't bargain for.
