French drama from film-maker Philippe Faucon. The film follows Amin Sow (Moustapha Mbengue) as he moves to France to find work, leaving his wife Aïcha (Mareme N'Diaye) and three children in Senegal. Living in a Parisian hostel full of like-minded migrants, Amin gets a construction job and saves his earnings to take back to his family. While renovating Gabrielle (Emmanuelle Devos)'s garden, Amin strikes up a romantic relationship with her. Meanwhile, back in Senegal, Aïcha struggles to raise her children alone and attempts to convince Amin to let them move to France with him.
