Superb Irish Broadcast Recording From 2005 In April 2005, John Prine released Fair and Square, his first studio album of new material since 1995 s Lost Dogs & Mixed Blessings. The new record was received enthusiastically by fans and critics alike, and went on to win the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Folk album in 2006. In the wake of Prine s new record, he played a handful of concerts across the US during 2005, but only one show outside the Union. On 11th November, he performed at the Glór Irish Music Centre, in Ennis, County Clare, near Ireland s West Coast.
