ART Lives: Henri Toulouse-Lautrec (UK-import)
Profile of the life and work of the great French Post-Impressionist painter. The five-feet tall artist (he suffered from a congenital disorder), became the great chronicler of the Paris cabarets and brothels of the late 1800s. Throughout a brief but prolific career, the painter, illustrator and lithographer became best known for his graphic work, with his vibrant posters of the nightlife at the Moulin Rouges and Folies Bergere becoming iconic images of their times.
