German-Italian pianist Patrizio Mazzola presents an exciting musical journey from Jan Beran’s piano concerto (with the Südwestdeutsche Philharmonie under Kevin Griffiths) to the two Swiss composers Ruth Dürrenmatt and Jürg Lietha. In between: works by Mozart, Chopin, Chaminade and Tailleferre – and a rare miniature by the 19th century child prodigy Carl Flitsch.
