AXTON‘s latest generation of the popular DSP amplifiers is back with a big step forward: Hi-Res audio files – and of course, all conventional music data – can now be played thanks to the additional optical or coaxial inputs via the car audio system. This only requires the also newly developed Hi-Res Audio streaming interface ABT50: Just plug it into the A542DSP or A592DSP and enjoy your favorite music in the best audio quality possible. Hi-Res audio data offer the highest dynamic range, depending on the format and a resolution in original studio master quality. Spatiality and transparency benefit from this, but mainly ensures a voluminous bass. Another innovation of these DSP amplifiers is the possibility to connect a remote control to the amplifier in order to easily adjust the overall level and bass boost or to mute the volume if necessary. This control function is particularly interesting when the amplifier is operating “stand-alone”, i.e. without radio. A542DSP and A592DSP are also convincing with the further range of functions: On board are a 31-band equalizer per channel, a time correction and active crossovers. Additionally there‘s the option of streaming music from smartphones via Bluetooth audio (Hi-Res only with ABT50) directly to the amplifier – the control remains convenient. This plug & play DSP amplifier series opens up previously unknown dimensions of sound and offers excellent performance. The two models are ideal for puristic car-audio installations. Thanks to plug & play connection including auto-turn-on function and the DSP-operated 5-channel pre-amp outputs the amps offer a wide range of possible uses. The 4-channel amplifier A592DSP is also 2 ohms stable – ideal for most factory systems.
