Double bill of bel canto operas. In 'Lucrezia Borgia' (2012) Renée Fleming takes the title role in this production of Donizetti's opera recorded live at the San Francisco Opera. Other cast members include Michael Fabiano, Elizabeth DeShong and Vitalij Kowaljow. In 'I Capuleti E I Montecchi' (2014) Riccardo Frizza again conducts the San Francisco Opera Orchestra in this production of Bellini's work based on Shakespeare's tragedy. The opera stars Joyce DiDonato and Nicole Cabell as Romeo and Giulietta with the rest of the cast including Saimir Pirgu, Eric Owens and Ao Li.
