Wayuu drama centred on a family's involvement in Colombia's illegal drug trade in the 1960s and '70s. In Guajira, the Wayuu Pushaina clan, headed by feared matriarch Úrsula (Carmiña Martínez), controls the area's burgeoning drug trade. Rapayet (José Acosta) meets the family, hoping to marry Úrsula's daughter Zaida (Natalia Reyes) and carves his own role in the family business by selling marijuana to Americans with the help of his friend Moisés (Jhon Narváez). However, the duo's dealings threaten the family's way of life when a war erupts for the future of the drug trade.
