Low-budget Scottish drama. The film follows young folk singer Ruadhan (Andrew Rothney) as he becomes increasingly disillusioned with the modernisation of the small fishing village he's always called home. Fascinated and obsessed with his country's proud tradition of producing folk music, Ruadhan has always idolised local bard Alec (Norman Maclean). Distraught at Alec's sudden departure, Ruadhan decides to stand up for the folk music and storytelling he holds in such high regard, but now feels is being quickly consigned to the past. After his old friend Amy (Scarlett Mack) and her family return from Glasgow, Ruadhan faces yet more challenges to protect his heritage.
