Danish film-maker Jeppe Rønde co-writes and directs this drama starring Hannah Murray and Josh O'Connor. The film follows teenager Sara (Murray) and her dad Dave (Steven Waddington) as they move to the county borough of Bridgend in South Wales, a town plagued by a high number of teenage suicides in recent years. While her father tries to investigate and prevent any further incidents, as the latest member of the county's police force, Sara finds herself drawn into a group of her fellow teenagers containing many of the victims' friends and begins a relationship with the local vicar's son Jamie (O'Connor). As she ingratiates herself more with her peers, Sara is allowed to witness the rituals they perform in the woods to honour their departed friends and finds her own mental state growing increasingly fragile.
