The Nasa Rim is made with extra thick and double sidewalls, 100% from 6066-T6 aluminum. It's designed to provide a bunch of lateral stiffness and durability. This is mainly achieved through its curved inner strut, extra-thick sidewalls, and tapered spoke seats.
