Marion Cajori directs this documentary about the life and work of New York-based contemporary portrait painter Chuck Close. The film includes explanations by Close of his unique methodology, and features contributions from his friends and colleagues including Brice Marden, Robert Storr, Dorothea Rockburne, Philip Glass, Arne Glimcher, Kiki Smith, Elizabeth Murray, Alex Katz and Kirk Varnedoe.
