Classic Cockpits: Flying The Legendary DC-3 (UK-import)
In this programme, Captain Jack Curtis and First Officer Chris Linn provide an all-encompassing look at one of the world's best known, best loved aircrafts. Conceived in 1932, the DC-3 was sturdy, reliable, economical, comfortable and safe, and it served the world's airlines for decades. Beginning with a landing at Mudgee, New South Wales, the crew then give a guided tour of the cockpit. This is followed by a local training flight, filmed using five broadcast quality cameras and high quality sound direct from the aircraft's intercom.
