Nico Mirallegro stars in this British drama alongside Michael Gambon, Daniel Mays and Michelle Fairley. When 17-year-old Johnjo O'Shea (Mirallegro) agreed to take his friends to the local pizza restaurant he had no way of knowing that he would later be charged as an accessory to premeditated murder. When one of the friends stabs and kills someone, the Joint Enterprise Law known as the Common Law entitles the court to grant all of the boys involved the same sentence. As Johnjo's parents fight to prove his innocence in the crime, the victim's family strive for justice.
