This year, Rebecca (Rachel Bloom) is, in some ways, like a baby chick that's about to tumble out of the nest. In other ways, she's that friend who is searching for enlightenment and kinda can't stop yammering about it. As always, Rebeccas actions have unintended consequences for her West Covina friends: Nathaniel (Scott Michael Foster) feels betrayed by her, Josh (Vincent Rodriguez III) is taken aback by her, and Darryl (Pete Gardner) is parenting her baby. Paula (Donna Lynne Champlin), Heather (Vella Lovell) and Valencia (Gabrielle Ruiz)remain staunchly by Rebeccas side, but they're busy finding their own identities (as a law student, regional manager and kick-ass party planner, respectively).
