A documentary profile of arguably Hollywood's greatest choreographer, Hermes Pan. Collaborating with Fred Astaire through all of his films, Pan went on to become the man behind some of the most iconic dance sequences captured on film, working with amongst others Ginger Rogers, Betty Grable, Rita Hayworth, Cyd Charisse, Shirley MacLaine and Frank Sinatra. The film includes dance extracts from 'My Gal Sal', 'Royal Wedding', 'Kiss Me Kate', 'Sombrero', 'Pal Joey', 'Silk Stockings', 'Excuse My Dust' and 'Three Little Words'.
