Classic British melodrama starring Mai Zetterling as prima ballerina Nina Gordon whose life is shattered by the discovery of her husband Mark's (Terence Morgan) infidelity. After discovering the truth about the cad, she drives off only to crash in a near fatal accident. She is told that she will never dance again.
