Double bill of films by Christopher Nupen featuring Russian pianist and composer Daniil Trifonov. In 'The Magics of Music' and 'The Castelfranco Veneto Recital' Trifonov performs works by Chopin, Ravel, Scriabin, Johann Strauss and Rachmaninov, as well as one of his own compositions. The films also provide insight into the man himself with footage of Trifonov in conversation.
