French comedy drama starring Catherine Deneuve and Gustave Kervern. Depressed eccentric Antoine (Kervern) gets a job as a janitor in an old apartment building in Paris where he takes pleasure in the simplicity of his work and strikes up a friendship with retired resident Mathilde (Deneuve), whose husband worries about her declining mental state.
