David Brown Tractors: Volume 3 - Intelligent Tractors (UK-import)
Part three of a definitive three part history of one of the world's most famous farm tractor manufacturers. In this edition, the American tractor firm Case, which bought David Brown Tractors in 1972, is featured. The 'intelligent' tractor of the title refers to the Case 94, whose sophisticated electronic control centre is examined in detail. Examples such as the 1494 and 1694 versions are featured, as well as the Case 2094, 2294 and 4694 models. The film concludes with a look at the David Brown assembly line at Meltham in West Yorkshire.
