Within just a few hours the ship lay to rest on the seabed in a semi-submerged state. The accident cost the lives of 32 people and has left a legacy in its wake that may change the course of an entire industry. How could such a modern ship complying with all main regulations be compromised by a series of 'normal' human errors? What can be learned from the events of that night? The answers will lead to a new concept of Bridge Resource Management able to reform navigation in the digital age.
