Joseph Gordon-Levitt makes his feature-length directorial debut in this comedy drama in which he also stars alongside Scarlett Johansson and Julianne Moore. Attractive ladies' man Jon Martello (Gordon-Levitt) is nicknamed Don Jon by his friends due to his continual womanising. When his obsession with pornography causes him to seek out a more satisfying sex life, he finds himself on a journey of discovery and begins to realise the meaning of love through two very different women, Barbara (Johansson) and Esther (Moore).
