Collection of short films by producer Geoffrey Fairrie about the historic 1937 and 1938 Donington Grand Prix. In 1937 the appearance of the German Mecedes-Benz and Auto Union and their superior performance on the track left many in Britain astounded. When they returned the following year they were still untouchable. Featuring footage from both the races, with much of the footage from 1938 in colour, the films feature drivers including Rudolf Caracciola, Herman Lang, Richard Seaman, Prince Bira, Manfred von Brauchitsch and Hermann Muller reaching speeds of up to 200mph.
