Exploring how the German nation began its love affair with the Nazis, director Philippe Mora pulls together propaganda material, alongside 16mm home movies by Hitler's fiancee Eva Braun, to provide a unique portrait of the Nazi leader. 'Double Headed Eagle' (1973) uses rarely seen newsreels, home movie footage and extracts from musicals and documentaries of the time to chart the rise to power of Hitler and the Nazis from the chaos of the Weimar Republic.
