The new album by the musician, songwriter and producer Chris Danner is performed by an all-star cast and consists of various shades of progressive/nu-metal with melodic, groovy guitars and vocal pieces. However, although structurally far away from transparent radio pop, the songs are still catchy, with exciting twists and plenty of space for instrumentation that give them a noticeably higher level of power. Danner has been in bands since his early teens, including a stint in the German AOR/melodic rock institution Scaramouche, whose guitarist he eventually became. However, at heart he was and remains a true Metalhead, and he soon gravitated to and remains dedicated to the heavy scene.
