Elizabeth Is Missing (UK-import)
British made-for-TV film adaptation of the novel by Emma Healey. Maud Horsham (Glenda Jackson) is a grandmother suffering from Alzheimer's disease and whose memory is gradually worsening. One day, when Maud's friend Elizabeth (Maggie Steed) does not show up to meet her, she becomes concerned but is not taken seriously by those around her. Maud takes it into her own hands to try to find out what might have happened to Elizabeth, but experiences vivid flashbacks to when her elder sister, Sukey (Sophie Rundle), went missing some 70 years ago.
