Thriller based on true events starring Rosamund Pike and Daniel Brühl as Brigitte Kuhlmann and Wilfried Böse, two terrorists who helped to hijack a flight from Tel Aviv to Paris with the passengers being held hostage. On the 27th of June 1976, Kuhlmann and Böse, members of German Revolutionary Cells, alongside two others are under instruction to hijack a plane to force the government to release militants being held in prison in Israel. With the objective of trading the 248 hostage passengers for these prisoners as well as Palestinians and prisoners held in other countries, a 7-day stand-off ensues as they attempt to bargain with the Israeli government and threaten that if their demands are not met, their hostages will be killed. With time running out and innocent lives at risk, an operation must get underway to free the hostages and capture the hijackers.
