American action thriller in which the city of Los Angeles faces imminent danger when an underground volcano causes eruptions all over the city. Following an earthquake, a screenwriter named Josh (Matthew Atkinson) sets out with renowned seismologist Professor Irwin (Harry van Gorkum) to obtain research for his upcoming disaster movie project. When the tremors escalate to lava-spouting eruptions, the pair must work together to come up with a strategy to contain a wide-scale catastrophe. Can they save the city before it's too late?
