Charles Crichton writes and directs this British action thriller starring Howard Keel and Anne Heywood. In an American valley a flooded river threatens the lives of two escaped convicts, their warder and an attractive young girl. They escape to a remote house, but the convict who rescued the others becomes consumed with the need to get revenge on the man who sent him to prison for a crime he did not commit.
