Children's animated feature in which a plover chick is left behind when he is unable to fledge with the rest of his family. Determined to make it to the legendary Paradise Valley, Ploey (voice of Jamie Oram) embarks on a journey to catch up with the rest of the flock. But when the native birds catch wind of vulnerable little Ploey left alone, they set out to capture him for their own agenda. Can Ploey evade the evil birds and find a way to make for the south?
