Gardens Of Stone (1987) (UK-import)
Francis Ford Coppola directs this 1980s drama centred on a group of US soldiers stationed at Fort Myer, Virginia during the Vietnam War. Sergeant Clell Hazard (James Caan) is frustrated by his role in a 'toy soldier' regiment whose orders are to guard the Arlington National Cemetery. However, his outlook changes when he takes young soldier Jackie Willow (D.B. Sweeney) under his wing and begins a love affair with anti-war journalist Samantha Davis (Anjelica Huston).
