Long before he became Dr Strangelove or Inspector Clouseau, PETER SELLERS was a Goon and an up-and-coming radio & TV comedian and actor. He was also an occasional - and surprisingly successful - recording artist, registering hit records at levels which flew directly in the face of the UK's record industry's perceived wisdom at that time. This compilation concentrates on Peter's solo recordings (you will find no Goonery herein!), drawn from his various 45s, EPs and LPs, between 1953 and 1962.
