Low-budget documentary-style horror. An American film crew travels to Ukraine to investigate claims of cannibalism during the country's famines in the 1930s for their series 'Cannibals of the 20th Century'. Through their interviews with survivors, it becomes apparent that supernatural forces were partly responsible for this dark period of the country's history. After conducting a mock séance, the crew unleash the spirit of Soviet serial killer Andrei Chikatilo who proceeds to continue his frenzied killing spree from beyond the grave.
