Documentary that takes a look at the lives of five people affected by Mills and Boon romance novels. It is estimated that a Mills and Boon romance is sold every four seconds worldwide, giving the books a huge cultural influence across the globe. Director Julie Moggan follows five people from four different continents - Japanese housewife Hiroko, Indian woman Shumita, US model Stephen, novelist Gill Sanderson and mother-of-three Shirley - to examine the effects of the books.
