Nobuhiko Obayashi directs this Japanese war drama set in 1941. Teenager Toshihiko (Shunsuke Kubozuka) is preparing himself to leave his home in Amsterdam to go to school in Karatsu, Japan, but while he makes friends easily, he struggles to move past the lasting effects of war. The cast also includes Shinnosuke Mitsushima, Keishi Nagatsuka and Tokio Emoto.
