Made-for-TV biopic starring Ruth Jones as the late 'Carry On' actress, Hattie Jacques. In colourful contrast to her stiff, usually celibate portrayal of the matron on camera, her private life saw her conducting an affair with a younger man behind her television star husband's back. The chequered romance is brought to life by Aidan Turner as the fresh-faced lover, and Robert Bathurst stars alongside as Jacques's husband, 'Dad's Army' actor, John Le Mesurier.
