Four-part TV drama starring Philip Glenister as Harry Venn, a lawyer who is drawn into a complex political conspiracy. Venn's travails begin when a fellow lawyer, Gina Hawkes (Thekla Reuten), asks him to find an alibi witness for one of her clients. Harry's subsequent investigations lead him to new information regarding the death of his brother 20 years ago, which sees him, in turn, uncover what appears to be a major conspiracy reaching to the heart of the British establishment. With Britain in a state of political turmoil and rioting in the streets, Harry's discoveries could be crucial to the future of the country, but will those who stand to gain from the conspiracy allow him to reveal the truth?
