Awarded a special jury prize at the San Sebastian International Film Festival, it's a deceptively simple, yet delightful road movie concerned with three disparate characters heading for the Argentine city of San Julian amid the beautiful landscapes of Patagonia. Roberto is a travelling salesman hoping to impress a young widow by surprising her child with a birthday cake. Don Justo is an old man with poor vision who sits in front of his son's grocery store and entertains passing children by wiggling his ears. Maria is a shy mother who has won an apperance on TV gameshow 'Multicoloured Casino'.
