A group of teens, travelling the highways of America, go in search of the legendary local maniac known only as Dr. Satan. When a mysterious hitchhiker offers to give them a tour of Dr. Satan's stamping ground, a breakdown forces the group to spend the night in the company of a very bizarre family.
