John Cassavetes writes, directs and stars in this comedy drama following three men whose lives are affected by the death of their friend. Husbands and fathers, Harry (Ben Gazzara), Archie (Peter Falk) and Gus (Cassavetes) attend the funeral of their friend, Stuart (David Rowlands), who died suddenly, and struggle to deal with their grief as they start to feel the pressures of their own lives. After spending two days drinking, Harry, who is having marriage troubles, convinces Archie and Gus to go on vacation to England with him to continue with their shenanigans. Will they all be able to return home and face up to their responsibilities?
