I Wouldn't Be In Your Shoes (1948)
The long layoff between gigs left nightclub hoofer Tom Quinn (Don Castle) taking his frustrations out on the neighborhood cats, as he chucked his custom shoes out the apartment window. He'd have cause to regret it, as matching footprints were found at the scene of a murder-and his spouse/partner Ann (Elyse Knox) faced a desperate search for the real culprit to get him off Death Row. Monogram noir based on a Cornell Woolrich novel also stars Regis Toomey, Charles D. Brown.
