Felix Randau writes and directs this German drama starring Jürgen Vogel as a Neolithic clan leader seeking vengeance. When he is out hunting, Kaleb (Vogel)'s tribe is attacked by a rival trio and he returns to find his wife and son killed and the holy shrine Tineka destroyed. Overcome by grief and rage, Kaleb embarks on a quest for revenge against the murdering marauders but finds himself up against the elements and questioning the morality of his mission while also protecting and caring for his tribe's sole infant survivor.
