Diane Kruger stars in this German crime drama written and directed by Fatih Akin. The film follows Katja Sekerci (Kruger) as she seeks justice in the aftermath of a deadly nail bomb attack that kills her Kurdish husband Nuri (Numan Acar), a former drug trafficker, and five-year-old son. Convinced she has a possible suspect and a racial motive for the attack, Katja is frustrated by the police's continued focus on her husband's criminal past until her theories are proved correct and a neo-Nazi couple is arrested and put on trial. However, when she doesn't get her desired verdict in court, Katja resolves to seek justice for herself.
