Pentangle were a dominant force in the folk music scene of the late 60s and early 70s. Two decades later, singer Jaqui McShee is still performing with her own project, Jaqui McShee's Pentangle. No less powerful for the loss of John Renbourn and Bert Jansch, the band is here captured at The Little Theatre performing material from 1998's 'Passe Avant' album. The band also improvises its way through some of the many high points of its career - turning a new eye to such folk anthems as 'Cruel Sister', 'The Wife of Ushers Well' and 'Lovely Joan' as well as the traditional standards like 'She Moved Through The Fair'.
