Mirai Konishi directs this documentary which explores the traditional and secretive world of the Japanese alcoholic drink sake. A type of rice wine, sake has a long history in Japanese culture but is not well-known throughout the rest of the world. The film follows a British sake brewer, an American journalist and the president of a traditional Japanese brewery as they join forces to investigate the complex sake industry.
