Russian drama co-written and directed by Aleksey German. In the 1950s in the Soviet Union military doctor General Yuri Georgievich Klensky (Yuriy Tsurilo) finds himself being targeted by government forces during Stalin's anti-Semitic Doctors' plot. After being arrested and brutalised in jail, Klensky discovers there may be a miraculous way out of his awful predicament when the country's leader falls ill.
